Training

Inside a session.

Four screens, in order: what today is and why, logging it, swapping something out, and finishing. Every one of the 336 exercises has a video clip, and the whole loop works with the network off.

Before you start

It shows you what changed, and why.

The session preview is not just a list of exercises. Each load is the one the engine worked out, with the reason beside it — up because you hit every rep, holding because a set came up short, down because two sessions running fell short.

The whole week is on the Plan tab, Saturday to Thursday with Friday off, deload weeks marked — so you know what is coming before you walk into the gym.

Back squat

70 kg — up 5 kg

You hit every rep at 65 kg last time. A lower-body lift on a barbell goes up 5 kg.

While you train

Dark on purpose.

The logging screen is always dark, whatever your phone is set to. It is used under gym lights, one-handed, with sweat on the glass — so it is high contrast, the targets are large, and only the set you are on is active.

The lift plays above the set card, silent and looping, so you can check the movement between sets without leaving the screen. Load and reps are steppers, not a keyboard. The rest timer starts itself when you log a set, and the screen stays awake so it is not black when you pick it up.

Every logged set is written to the phone and returns immediately. There is no spinner, because there is no request.

When something is wrong

Swap it and keep going.

No kit

The bench is taken, or there is no cable. Pick “No kit” and it offers alternatives, closest match first, and marks any you may not have the equipment for.

It hurts

Pick “It hurts” and the alternatives change to work around it. It will not tell you it is fine: if it keeps hurting, see a professional.

Rather not

Preference is a valid reason. Whichever you pick, your load comes across, roughly converted, and the next session corrects it. Only this week’s session changes.

Finishing

Then it is done.

What you did

Total kilos lifted, your time against the plan, the sets you completed, and any new best — with how far through the week you are.

What comes next

The next session and its day, or that the week’s training is done. No questionnaire, no sharing prompt, no badge. The plan learns from the sets you logged.

And it syncs later

Signed in, your sets upload whenever a connection appears. Signed out, they stay on the phone. Either way, nothing you do waits on a network.

Train on it for a week.

That is the only honest test of a logging screen. If it gets in your way, you will know by the third session.
